That’s why the Telluride Foundation is committed to pursuing endeavors that push the envelope in the world of philanthropy. For 15 years, we’ve focused our efforts toward creative solutions and entrepreneurial thinking.
We provide year-round support for local organizations involved in arts, education, athletics, health, human services, conservation and other community-based efforts. We focus on making cash grants to regional nonprofits and community groups, working with nonprofits to build their effectiveness, and addressing issues where we can have a direct impact. And, despite of our small size, we’re nationally recognized as the fourth most active grant maker in the country.
In order to provide the most transparent and efficient use of donor funds, we focus our efforts on four core pillars:
