The newly named finalists began their journey in January, with an initial call for breakthrough ideas to close the housing affordability gap across three focus areas: Housing Construction, Housing Finance, and Resident Services and Support.

From the pool of nearly 900 applications received, the challenge led a highly collaborative review by senior leaders from Enterprise. Forty-five applications were invited to join Round 2 of the challenge.

The Round 2 selection committees – comprised of a diverse group of Wells Fargo employees – nominated 15 finalists, five from each focus area, to pitch their ideas to a panel of distinguished industry experts who will serve as impartial judges during the pitch competition scheduled August 24-25.
