ISSUE

Rural nonprofits, which provide critical services and create vibrancy and inspiration in our community, face a host of issues – financial, strategic, and organizational shortfalls. Securing access to appropriate resources is a constant challenge that our nonprofits partners face in meeting the specific needs of the communities they serve.

OUR WORK

Support regional organizations through an annual Community Grant cycle; grants address community issues within the categories of health and human service, education and early childhood, arts and culture, environment and animals, and athletics.

Measure outcomes from our grant investments.

Host capacity-building workshops and trainings for nonprofits throughout the year.

Provide year-round support, encouragement, guidance, and resources to the nonprofit community.

OUR IMPACT

We awarded 75 grants totaling $1.1M to community partners in 2023.

In 2023, we distributed an $1.8M to regional nonprofits by facilitating donor contributions and DAFs.

Since 2001, we have awarded over $17M to community partners.

We host, on average, 5 workshops per year addressing topics such as legal issues for boards, grant writing, fundraising.
