Conceived as an initiative to help diversify the economy and make the region more innovative and dynamic, Telluride Venture Network (TVN) is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. Originally known as the Telluride Venture Accelerator, the TVN has grown into a full-fledged entrepreneurial ecosystem supporting small businesses, manufacturing companies, and high-growth startups across the region. TVN offers a full spectrum of services including business acceleration, mentorship, access to debt and equity financing, and regional co-working partnerships to help entrepreneurs start, grow, and scale businesses.  Over the decade, TVN is proud to have helped 110 companies create 350 jobs and raise $55M in funding.

TVN is always seeking innovative ways to foster entrepreneurship while continuing to make existing programming available. This Spring, TVN held its first bootcamp collaboration with Telluride Science, Entrepreneurship for Scientists: From Lab to Market. The workshop provided scientists and engineers with business frameworks to utilize when considering the commercialization of technology they have developed. In June,  four Western Slope-based businesses Assessment Generator, Gipht, Phoenix Haus, and SFD Manufacturing, graduated from TVN’s annual Investment Bootcamp and presented at Demo Day, our live pitch event. Founders, investors, and community members connected at a happy hour afterward.

Now in its third year, Cómo Construir Un Negocio (How to Build a Business) resumes in September. The 11-week Bootcamp is geared toward founders from the Latino business community and offers coaching, mentorship, and networking opportunities. To date, TVN has provided seven companies with financial support to launch or expand their businesses. It takes a courageous soul to turn their business idea into a reality and we need more mentors to support them. If you are bilingual and have business experience please consider becoming a mentor! Complete the mentor form and we’ll quickly be in touch.  For more information please contact
