Premier Screening of the PBS “Places of Invention” Featuring “Science, Technology & Invention in Telluride”

The Telluride Foundation, the Pinhead Institute, the Telluride Historical Museum and Rocky Mountain PBS present a sneak peek screening from the series, Places of Invention, “Science, Technology & Invention in Telluride.” The screening is at the Sheridan Opera House on Tuesday, Dec. 30th from 5:00 to 6:30p.m.

The evening will include a reception and screening to introduce the 30 minute show featuring Telluride, the Ames Hydro Plant and LL Nunn, and the electricity wars between Nicola Tesla and Thomas Edison. There will be a silent auction during the reception, which will include a Tesla car and two nights in a luxury hotel in Napa. The silent auction will benefit the Neil Armstrong Scholarship Fund, the Pinhead Institute and the Telluride Historical Museum.
