NORWOOD, Colo. (February 14, 2022) –The Rural Homes Project announced that the Pinion Park project in the Town of Norwood, Colorado has obtained final plat approval from the Town Board of Trustees, enabling the start of construction in early March. After a yearlong review process, the Town of Norwood Trustees voted unanimously to approve the project at their regular Town Council meeting on February 9.

The Pinion Park Neighborhood is made possible by land donated to the project by San Miguel County. Final approval of the land donation was made at the regular San Miguel County Board of County Commissioners meeting on February 16, 2022. Providing free land within the town limits  is a critical component to providing high quality affordable homes for sale to locals. San Miguel County’s support has made the project possible.

The Pinion Park Neighborhood, located just south of the Lone Cone Library in Norwood, will provide 24 affordable deed restricted single family homes available for sale to qualified residents.
