Upcoming Nonprofit Workshops, Events & Important Dates
Please join us for a series of virtual workshops. Our next workshop is, “Connecting the Dots: How to Raise Money If Your Nonprofit Isn’t Focused on COVID-19” This workshop, taught by Denise Clark, a nonprofit consultant based in Telluride, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 1st from Noon to 1:30 pm via a web conference. This workshop is the third in a series of three virtual workshops aimed at strengthening nonprofits as they deal with the economic and program impacts of COVID-19.

BI-MONTHLY BUSINESS RECOVERY WEBINARS – FOR ALL BUSINESSES: FOR PROFITS & NON PROFITS: We understand that the current economic environment is posing major challenges for all small businesses. In an effort to ensure we are being proactive in recovering from the effects of CO-VID19, we invite you to a bi-monthly Business Recovery webinar (via zoom), every other Wednesday from 1-2pm mt. FEDERAL CARES ACT: ASAP has put together a great SUMMARY of the resources available through the CARES Act.
ADDITIONAL SOURCES OF FUNDING: Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) is maintaining a list of alternative sources of funding for Colorado based businesses. We found this to be an excellent resource: Colorado Funding List
NON PROFITS: Emergency Grants We understand that many regional non profits are working around the clock to serve our community. If your non profit is experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19 you are welcome to apply for an Emergency Grant. Before submitting an application, please read our Emergency GUIDELINES and if you feel you qualify, download and complete the APPLICATION. NON PROFITS: State of Colorado COVID Relief Fund: Governor Polis has announced the creation of the COVID Relief Fund, which will be providing grants to community-based organizations that have experience and a history of providing people and families with services and support. Through this Fund, eligible community-based organizations across Colorado may receive a general operating grant of up to $25,000. If your organization is in need of emergency funding to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 in Colorado, please click this link to find out if you are eligible and to apply.
